EPSDT Dental Program Teledentistry Services

As part of LDH's response to the COVID-19 emergency declaration, LDH has filed a waiver which allows some flexibility during this disaster to ensure access to care for Medicaid members. LDH will now allow Louisiana-licensed dentists to provide and bill MCNA for teledentistry services that allow for the triage of dental emergencies. MCNA's Sealants & Smiles Program

Our new Sealants & Smiles program is designed to help us reach our goal to increase the number of Louisiana EPSDT members receiving sealants. Beginning March 15, 2019, we will add $10.00 to the standard fee for each sealant placed on the first permanent molars of eligible members.
