Reminder: Important SNPDIP Deadline – July 31, 2026

All claims for special needs members with dates of service between January 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026, must be received by MCNA by July 31, 2026, to be considered for the Louisiana Special Needs Pediatric Dental Incentive Program (SNPDIP). In addition, CE training verification, including any discrepancies, omissions, corrections, or supporting documentation, must be submitted by July 31, 2026, to be counted toward SNPDIP eligibility and bonus determination. Claims, corrections, or verification submissions received after this deadline will not be included in the payment calculation or bonus determination.

Clinical Practice Guidelines Updated May 2026

MCNA's has updated our Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) and they are now available for your office. Our approved CPGs can be downloaded from the "Support and Downloads" page in the Provider Portal and from MCNA's website under "Guides and Tools."

The American Dental Association (ADA) has released the 2026 version of the Current Dental Terminology (CDT) dental procedure code manual. Continuing Education Opportunities for the Special Needs Pediatric Dental Incentive Program

MCNA recently announced the launch of the Louisiana Special Needs Pediatric Dental Incentive Program (SNPDIP). As part of this program, providers may earn a $1,000 incentive bonus from MCNA by completing a qualifying special needs focused Continuing Education (CE) course.
