LDH Dental Incentive Payment Program Stakeholder Discussion

Beginning in 2025, Louisiana Medicaid will be implementing a Dental Incentive Payment Program. MCNA encourages all of our participating general and pediatric dentists to join in a stakeholder discussion on this new program hosted by the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) on November 25, 2024, at 3PM. Medicaid Provider Enrollment Rebaseline Project

Louisiana Medicaid launched its Medicaid Provider Enrollment Rebaseline on October 25, 2024, and future rebaselines for new providers will occur every two months thereafter. Please read our latest provider bulletin to learn more about what rebaseline means and how it may affect your office.
Comment Period Open through November 22

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) has opened a comment period to allow the public to provide feedback on the upcoming competitive procurement for statewide Dental Benefit Program Managers with new contracts beginning January 1, 2026. You have the opportunity to review LDH's goals and provide feedback on areas of interest through November 22, 2024. Please visit the LDH's website to learn more and submit your feedback.

Updates to MCNA's Provider Manual

MCNA's Sealant Incentive Program

To promote and encourage the use of sealants, MCNA is reintroducing our Sealant Incentive Program with an incentive reimbursement rate of an extra $10 per tooth for patients ages 6-9 on their first permanent molars. To learn more about the program, please review our provider bulletin.
