All current enrollees in the Louisiana EPSDT and Adult Denture dental programs have the opportunity to choose their dental plan if they did not make a choice during Open Enrollment. The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is offering online provider training sessions in support of the use of the e-MEVS application, an electronic Medicaid Eligibility Verification System. The 2020 Open Enrollment period for Louisiana Medicaid dental enrollees begins October 15 and runs through November 30. Please read the Louisiana Department of Health's Informational Bulletin 20-19 for more information about dates and mailings to enrollees as well as reminders for dental providers.

Eligible dentists participating in Medicaid and CHIP have until August 28, 2020, to apply for funding from the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund. The requirements for eligibility have been updated. Please click here to read the HHS announcement.
