MCNA's has updated our Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) and they are now available for your office. Our approved CPGs can be downloaded from the "Support and Downloads" page in the Provider Portal and from MCNA's website under "Guides and Tools."

MCNA now offers several resources from the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry to provide your office with important information and guidance. They are available permanently under Guides and Tools in the News and Resources section of our website. You can also access them through the links listed below:

The American Dental Association (ADA) has released the 2026 version of the Current Dental Terminology (CDT) dental procedure code manual. Please read our provider bulletin for the full list of the dental services benefit changes that have been made to support updates applicable to the Louisiana Medicaid and CHIP dental program.

To assist your office in understanding the new Louisiana Special Needs Pediatric Dental Incentive Program (SNPDIP), MCNA has prepared a set of frequently asked questions that provide concise information about program requirements and additional resources. We encourage you to read our SNPDIP FAQ and reach out to our dedicated Provider Relations team if you have further questions.

MCNA recently announced the launch of the Louisiana Special Needs Pediatric Dental Incentive Program (SNPDIP). As part of this program, providers may earn a $1,000 incentive bonus from MCNA by completing a qualifying special needs focused Continuing Education (CE) course. Learn more about the criteria qualifying CE courses must meet and see a list of upcoming opportunities in our provider bulletin.

MCNA is pleased to introduce the Special Needs Pediatric Dental Incentive Program (SNPDIP) for our EPSDT network providers. We recognize the additional time, expertise, and financial investment required to care for members with special needs. This new incentive program is designed to support your efforts to offer this critical care. Please read our provider bulletin for details about program requirements and time frames.
